Coming Up Brass, or The CUB Band, is a 10 piece (yes 10!) group of musicians who play for the love of the music.  With 10 members in the band you would expect a big sound and trust us  ... we have a very BIG sound!  We've been playing limited engagements in and around the Charlotte, NC area for 15 years performing for events, such as Corporate and Private Parties, Weddings, Community Festivals, Beach Blasts,  and many others.  For a number of years, when Archie Bell of "Tighten Up" fame would come to North or South Carolina, we were his band of choice, playing many gigs together.   Over the years we've  built a loyal following of fans who voted us the Creative Loafing Readers Pick "Best Local Band for Dancing"!  For that we say... THANK YOU!!  For those of you who've not heard us, our strong horn section, rockin' rhythm section, and killer vocals, we will knock your socks off!  No sequencing here.., we're playing every note.
